Quality Control in the Year 2017

Here’s the situation: Customer “B” is frustrated with the inefficiency in the receiving department, where 8 shipments per day are QC’d, still using paper and pencil. Then the information is inputted into Excel and then it is attached to an email and sent to the production manager and his team.

Hi-Impact Technology developed an application to allow data to be sampled and recorded on a laptop across multiple locations across the country and uploaded to a centralized server at HQ. Emails are no longer sent to other members of the organization and to the vendors. Rather, data is uploaded to a web portal and users or vendors can access the reports at their leisure.

What happens? Company saves 4 man hours per day per location across the country!
